Some Ants

These are some ants that I photographed last month. I was interested to see that the red ant at the bottom seemed to be built differently to the other two types, with an extra segment in its thorax. Although it's supposed to be a garden ant, like the one in the middle picture, this one was in a clearing in the woods.
